A few weeks ago we introduced our first new Fall intern Peter. This week, our other intern Jen Hawkins will sit down and talk about some of her interests and how she is enjoying her Boom Box internship so far.
what grabbed your interest in sound for television & film?
It was part of the industry I knew little about and became interested in thinking about being able to create a world with sounds.
What have you enjoyed so far and what are excited to learn more about during your internship?
The project I have enjoyed so far has been the background and ambiances project. It was fun building layers to add depth and realism utilizing sound. I am most excited to get started on working on more sound effects editing.
What's the craziest or favorite sound you have ever heard?
I was in my kitchen once and heard water dripping on a metal bowl.
What is your go to TV show to binge watch?
Parks and Recreation.
