We had a great time returning to San Diego Comic-Con again this year! We kicked our long weekend off with the empowering Cartoon Creatives: Women Power in Animation panel, a discussion lead by talented women and their experiences in animation. On Friday we were excited to see our work showcased at The TMNT Return to New York, the Disney XD Penn Zero: Part Time Hero, and The 7D panels. We quenched our thirst afterward with our inaugural Boom Box Post hosted happy hour. The creators of Future-Worm and Pickle and Peanut kept us laughing all day long on Saturday with their antics, and we wrapped up the show with the first ever Boom Box Post Comic Con TweetUp. Thanks to everyone who came out to all of the exciting events this year! Enjoy some of these fun photos we took, and we look forward to seeing you all at Comic Con 2017!
Our first ever Boom Box Post Tweet Up was a total success!
This panel put on by Women in Animation was the most fascinating one we saw all weekend. We love hearing about fantastic women creating cool content.
This panel was amazing. It showed a ton of new TMNT content, and we were thrilled so see how well the audience reacted.
Jeff posed with TMNT's Shredder. The cosplay here is always the best!
Nick has a fabulous area on the floor this year.
Jeff channeled his 1990's self and picked the nose from Nickelodeon's Double Dare.
Jeff and Jessey wear Mikey masks.
The TMNT gang made an appearance on the floor.
Jessey, Jeff, and DJ (who all work on our TMNT sound team) gave Comic-Con a high-three!
Jeff rides the escalator up to the panel floor!
The combo Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero and The 7D panel was great! Creators Sam Levine and Tom Ruegger, respectively, were incredibly interesting.
The 7D's songwriter, Parry Gripp, made a surprise appearance and sang the theme song.
Tom Ruegger (EP), Tom Warburton (Co-EP), and Parry Gripp (Songwriter) gave the audience insights into upcoming The 7D episodes.
This year, we hosted our very first Boom Box Post Happy Hour for our crew members. A few clients showed up and mad the party even more fun!
We drank (and ate) to all of our shows at Comic-Con this year: The 7D, Penn Zero, Future-Worm, and TMNT.
Jeff tries out his Future-Worm mask. I believe his face is saying, "LET'S DO THIS, COMIC-CON!"
A blast from our childhood past on the Comic-Con floor.
This panel was jam packed with content and sneak peaks.
This adorable girl from the audience dressed as Squirrel Girl totally stole the show. Best panel member ever.
As we waited for the combo Future-Worm and Pickle and Peanut panel to begin, the audience was charmed by a life-sized Future-Worm.
Kate makes friends with Future-Worm.
Ryan Quincy, creator of Future-Worm, came dressed as Future-Ryan, complete with dry ice, flashing lights, and a t-shirt slingshot.
The Future-Worm / Pickle & Peanut panel was chock full of friendly banter between the two crews.
Kate and Jeff hang with Future-Ryan Quincy after the panel.
A trip to San Diego Comic-Con would not be complete without a little Game of Thrones cosplay. Now we can go home happy!
